Apprentice hairdresser

If you are bright, enthusiastic, have a strong desire to learn hairdressing; you want a career not just a job and you feel you could offer excellent service to people? Then we would like to hear from you. We can offer you a challenging but supportive apprenticeship where advancement is nurtured, you would also be training to a nationally recognised standard and far beyond.

Throughout your apprenticeship you will be working towards becoming a stylist, towards the end of the apprenticeship you will undergo pre-stylists training to hone and polish your skills.

Senior apprentices

When you've completed gone through your apprenticeship, and still go have the appetite for more learning and are able to demonstrate you have what it takes, are a little special we may place you on the next step. You will receive your own training plan and work on specific models for to prepare for life as a salon stylist. This time will be used to give your work and client skills that extra finish polish that is essential for a career in a Yan hair salon.

Stylist

With a strong training tradition in the salon we have many talented home-grown stylists, we also look outside the company for staff and other influences. At Yan hair salon we are always interested in expanding our styling team, the right applicant will have talent, skill, a willingness to learn and share ideas and have lots of enthusiasm.  We have a strong client base so excellent customer care and quality service is of the upmost importance.

Front desk coordinator

This part time position is one of the most important in the salon. Controlling the hub of the business, liasing with clients and team members to give our clients the upmost in customer satisfaction.

 

With strong training links to Wella for colour and Tigi artistic cutting team, we endeavour to ensure continued quality. In addition, we have in-salon and external courses as well as a programme of staff skill share.
